| Global Studies Canada-EU Mobility Project |
- This course is for persons about to engage in international development work overseas and seeks to raise awareness and increase knowledge about international development issues such as gender, environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
- This ~6 hour orientation will help to prepare you for an international consultancy, internship or secondment from COTR. You'll learn how to locate up-to-date information about the country and culture you'll be visiting. You'll also be guided through the myriad logistical steps of planning your trip and your stay in-country, preparing a risk management plan, and making sure you've completed essential travel paperwork. Finally, you'll be exposed to concepts in intercultural understanding and international development.
