The Extra Mile Award is given annually as formal recognition for extraordinary contribution to the success of College of the Rockies through support of learning, community involvement, service, academic scholarship, or teaching.
It is given for contributions that are beyond the employee’s specific job expectations that exemplify College values, and that have a significant positive impact in the College, in the community, or in the employee’s profession/field.
This award is the highest honour awarded to an employee (teacher or support staff) of College of the Rockies.
If you would like to nominate an instructor, the packages are available on-line (https://sps.cotr.bc.ca/Forms/Documents/ExtraMileAwardNominationForm13_Fillable.pdf) or you can drop into the HR department.
Recipients are honoured at the annual Employee Recognition Dinner.
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS MAY 17, 2013.
