Students in this course are introduced to biochemistry, cell structure and cellular processes (transport, cellular respiration, photosynthesis) as foundations for understanding human anatomy and physiology. The major human organ systems are covered in detail. Lab experiences include experiments, demonstrations and some dissection. Knowledge of general chemistry is essential in understanding much of the material in this course.

An entry level course that prepares students for higher level math courses or can satisfy personal or career goals. Topics range from essential computation and problem-solving skills to algebra and geometry. Math 70 prepares students for entry into programs or courses requiring Intermediate Mathematics or Math 10 prerequisites.
