Reviewing Edit History

A Wiki is a collaborative activity, and every page is editable by all users. This means that another student can edit the content of a page that you initially built.

To review the history of changes made to the page you originally drafted, or to see the original draft of a page which has been heavily edited, you can use the History view.

1. Navigate to the page for which you want to view the Edit History.

2. Select History from the drop-down menu:

3. You can select a previous edit point and view the contents of that edit by selecting the Version number.

4. You can compare two versions by selecting in the Diff column and then clicking the "Compare Selected" button:

Differences will be displayed in red text and highlighted in green.

You can choose to restore a previous version which you prefer to the more recently edited version.

e.g.Displays a comparison of two edited versions of this page.
