IT will be performing a scheduled network outage on Friday, May 29 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
What to expect
• The outage will primarily affect users on campus or users accessing resources on the college network
• Resources accessed on our servers or requiring VPN access such as file shares, EASYR, EASI, Colleauge UI will not be accessible
• If you are working remotely (e.g., from home), access to systems such as email, Teams, Sharepoint, the Portal, COTROnline/Moodle and Access COTR should not be impacted
• Remote Campuses will still have internet access, but will be impacted in the same was as users working remotely
If you are working on Campus you can still access the same resources as someone working remotely if you use your phone as a hotspot and pair it to your laptop.
Purpose of the outage
This work is required to initialize the College's second redundant internet connection, which is a critical step in improving the resilience of the network and reducing the likelihood of future disruptions.
